How rehoming works

Get in contact
Send us an email with as many pictures and details of your cactus as you can. Let us know if you have a price in mind in the email too, including roughly where you are in the country.

Evaluation
We will respond to your email within 24 hours with an evaluation and whether your plant will go into our private collection or be sold on.

Collection or postage
Depending on our distance to you, we will either come and collect your plants or guide you through the process of packing and posting your plant. All postage costs will be covered by Curious Cacti and payment will be made once the plant has arrived in our care
Our plants
Meet Gary
Well the top of him anyway! Gary is our biggest, single headed, globular cactus at 2 feet wide and weighs around 60kg! Echinocactus grusonii like Gary have been known to grow to a meter wide.
Seedlings
We source our plants from a variety of places that include purchased seed and home made seed too. Growing cacti from seed is incredibly rewarding for us but takes a very long time!
Flowers
We often get asked "do all cacti flower"? And the answer is yes! Some plants only need to be a year or two old to flower but do your research as others take years.
Our collection
Curious Cacti started from selling spare cacti from our collection. Many plants from this original collection are still with us today but our years of collecting always means that space is at a premium.
Rare plants
Among the plants we sell are some that are very sought after and can be quite difficult to find for sale anywhere else and many of these rarities come from our collection.
A splash of variegation
In our collection we have a couple of variegated plants that offer colour all year round. We sometimes offer vareigated plants in our shop so keep an eye out to add one to your collection too!
