Shipping Policy

Shipping methods 

We ship orders 48 hours after purchase because nobody likes waiting ages for their delivery of plants! Our courier of choice is Royal Mail's Second class service as it is fast, efficient and safest for your plants.  

We also ship most of our cacti and succulents bare root, unless the option of pot and soil has been selected as an addition. This means they will not come with the soil or pot pictured but instead paper-based bubble wrapped individually to ensure they stay safe. The soil in our additions options vary from our own soil blend and original blends from other suppliers. Please enquire via email if you would like to know your particular plants blend.

Where we ship to 

We are only able to ship inside of the UK (but excludes Ireland). It will be impossible to ship to any other country due to the certification and infrastructure that is needed. Without these credentials it is illegal to post to external countries and therefore we cannot fulfil this request.  
 

Packaging

The majority of our packaging and boxes have been repurposed to send your purchases to you, including our recyclable tape and paper based bubble wrap. Before disposing of our provided packing materials, please check your local curb side for the best way to recycle these.

Costs

Each plant has an individual postage cost based on weight and size. In some cases postage can be combined and, wherever this is applicable, this will be automatically done at the checkout. 

Return & Exchange Policy

Being an online houseplant shop, we endeavour to supply all goods ordered. Due to the small and personal nature of our business, products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including after you have placed your order. If your order or part of your order cannot be fulfilled we will let you know via email and will try our best to offer substitutes of near matches or we can arrange a refund for that product.

Please do not return an order without contacting us first. It is the customer’s responsibility to bare the cost of return postage and packing. We will not pay the costs of returning an unwanted item to us. This does not affect your statutory rights. Should your order arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect, please do not accept or sign for it from the courier and ask them to return the goods. For orders that warrant a refund, you will not receive your refund until the package has been returned to us. 

 

If you wish to cancel your order, please email Curious Cacti at Contact@curiouscacti.co.uk, as soon as possible due to the fast nature in which we send out our packages. In the occurrence of your package being shipped before you are able to cancel it, you will bare the cost of the return postage once the order reaches you and we will not refund until the order is returned to us.
