About us
Our online houseplant shop is run purely off plant adrenaline. Here at Curious Cacti we love working with prickly plants. The cactus addiction all started with one small greenhouse in a garden in Hampshire. Many plant successes and failures later, we are able to offer you a range of unique and interesting cacti that are suited for plant enthusiast from beginner to expert.
We are Jack and Alanna and for as long as we can remember, we have loved all things plants!
We both had our separate collections with Alanna's being houseplants and Jack's being cacti, before we came up with the idea to start a business doing what we love.
Bringing together our knowledge and connections in the plant world, we established Curious Cacti in January 2023. We felt there was a gap in the market for the online purchasing of specialised cacti in one place, leading to the creation of Curious Cacti.
Our aim is to provide everyone the chance to expand their collections and appreciate these plants as much as we do. That's why we offer a diverse range of plants from those that are perfect, to specimens which may need more time, care and loving to get back to their former glory. This allows everyone the opportunity, despite budgets, to access their wish list plant.
We also encourage the younger and less experienced growers to get involved and is the reason we give free advice to those who ask for a push in the right direction. All of our practices for business plants stay the same as our collection plants, from watering cycles to our potting mix, we treat all our plants as if they are our collection.
